My name is Lauretta Chalifoux

I have always been an animal lover from as far back as I can remember. I was born and raised on a Farm in the County of Battle River in Alberta.

I can remember having pet cows, chickens, and of course dogs and cats. I always wanted to be outside with the animals then in the house doing girl stuff. Fast forward into Adulthood I was working a high stress job in the Corporate World till my health took a bit of a nose dive. It caused me to pause and re-evaluate what was important to me and I knew it was not living the way I was living. I spent a year at home with my 2 dogs and really looked at my life and knew whatever I did next needed to include my dogs. So I decided to quit my job and started my application for Rover.com My profile went live in approximately 3 weeks and to my surprise it exploded.

I did not realize the high demand for Doggy Daycare and Boarding Service. Once I started there was no turning back, I decided to open my own business, and obtained a Business License and Permit from the City Of Calgary and I have to say it has been the best 5 1/2 years of my Life.
